Couples Group: Enhancing Your Relationship

 

Couples Group is intended to provide couples with a supportive group environment
where they can develop better communication skills, address conflicts,
and strengthen their relationships.
One 5 week module, each meeting is once per week for two hours.
Weekly on Mondays from 6:00 PM – 8:00 PM.

Tentative January 2025 Start Date

 

Key Principles: Research-Based Approach, Sound Relationship House, The Four Horsemen of the
Apocalypse, Emotional Attunement, Bids for Connection, Turning Toward Instead of Away, Building a
Culture of Appreciation.
Communication Techniques: ā€œIā€ Statements, Active Listening, Speaker-Listener Technique.
Strategies for Healthy Relationships: Conflict Resolution, Creating Shared Meaning, Nurturing
Intimacy, How Each Partner Impacts the Whole, Emotionally Responsive Cycle, Primary Emotions,
Creating a Secure Emotional Bond.
 

Group Leaders

Kristina Betz, LMFTA- Kristina utilizes a fusion of narrative, person-centered, and
experiential therapy methods to empower couples in leading genuine and
fulfilling lives together. With a focus on promoting awareness, balance, and
personal responsibility within their relationship dynamics, she is dedicated to
helping partners rediscover themselves and strengthen their bond.

Kailee Nuttall, LMFTA- Kailee loves working with couples on their complex                                                                                                                                                                                                        relational dynamics from a Gottman and EFT informed approach. Kailee focuses on
unpacking their interactional cycle to help each couple see their impact
on the system. As a relational therapist, Kailee enjoys seeing couples and
helping repair their dynamic from a systems-based perspective.
